Premiere of Fantasia para Cuerdos
The San Jose Chamber Orchestra will present the premiere performance of this new work for string quartet, string orchestra, and percussion, featuring violinist Jeremy Cohen and Quartet San Francisco and conducted by music director Barbara Day Turner. The work was commissioned by The San Jose Chamber Orchestra.

Beatitude Mass New Mexico premiere
The premiere of Beatitude Mass in New Mexico will be performed by Polyphony: Voices of New Mexico, Maxine Thévenot, Artistic Director, in a benefit concert for a women's and children's shelter. The program will also include the premiere of a new organ concerto by Andrew Ager.

TWO NEW ENGLAND PREMIERES AT NEWPORT MUSIC FESTIVAL
FLOWERS OF THE SOUL, a song cycle for soprano and piano trio, and MISTERIA, a major piano work, will be performed at the Newport Music Festival in Newport, Rhode Island, on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Teresa Cincione will be featured as soprano soloist, and Daniel del Pino as piano soloist. Details will soon be available on the website: www.newportmusic.org.
THE FACE AT CENTRAL CITY OPERA
In July and August, 2010, the annual performances of THE FACE will be given at the Central City Opera. The work has been performed annually as part of their summer festival since 1978.
